Teaser:
In our IDAF, we analyzed solar energy in more detail. We have taken a leap back in time and looked at the origins and how the current economic boom in solar energy came about and have drawn up a vision for the future.
To make it easier to understand, we have listed the main events in a timeline and key words, and we will then go into these in more detail.More...

Task 5 is unfortunately relatively difficult to compare, as the time span of about half a year has not changed much in the topic of sustainable travel. I think this will be an evolution that could last for years. Sybille Bloch / Hotelplan Head of Sustainable Tourism - said it could last for a while.
The current situation with the tensions in the war zones does not make traveling more attractive. Thus, traveling for the first time becomes only a secondary priority.
Vision NOW:
But to sum up, yes, I still agree that sustainable travel is becoming more and more trendy and this is also promoted by social media.
Imagination NOW:
I can imagine that within 10 years the market of sustainability (in general) will gain more importance. Also in relation to the current inflationary situation. Sustainability is a one-time investment which is amortized through resources and profits.
We heat with different radiators on the one hand we have a photovoltaic system (solar panels) on our roof, on the other hand we have installed two years ago a geothermal probe which was dug into the ground. In addition, we use our fireplace from time to time in the winter, which also provides heat, but honestly is used more for aesthetic reasons.
Photovoltaic system
Short definition:
A photovoltaic system, also PV system or solar power system, is an electric power system designed to supply usable solar power by means of photovoltaics. It consists of an arrangement of several components, including solar panels to absorb and convert sunlight into electricity.

Geothermal probe / deutsch = Erdsonde
Short definition:
A geothermal probe is a geothermal heat exchanger in which a heat transfer fluid circulates. In contrast to the horizontally laid geothermal heat collector, the pipe system is inserted into a vertically or obliquely running borehole. With the geothermal probe, heat is extracted from or supplied to the ground.

--> We started drilling in our garden about two years ago (picture). The company "Heim" has installed it, so we have a sustainable heating resource.

Fireplace:
Usually we are useing burning firewood to heat our living room in the winter. However, we use this rather rarely, because as already mentioned, it is more used aesthetic wise.

Fact:
The average energy consumption for all flights without motion platform was 0.308 kWh per operation. In the flights with motion, this result was 40% higher and amounted to 0.431 kWh.
Formula:
0.308 kWh x 3.6e+6 = 1108800 joules
Kallaya from Diethelm Travel / Bangkok

Today worked on our survey, we received feedback which we want to implement. We also worked on our script for the video for instagram aswell as for don´t waste my energy.
Remy and Lia
Today we have achieved a lot. After a low blow, things can only go up.
We were finally able to make our survey ready to share, we did this via instagram, the class, e-mail to the school building or whatsapp. We started evaluating the interviews and have already posted the links via Insta.
